Whenever you take one a project it is beneficial to both you and the client to go over ideas. Without a game plan things can go sour quickly. It is important to be on the same page so that you both have an idea of what is expected. I can not stress this enough, sit down and talk before you press record. Here are some questions you will want to ask your client before you do any production:
Who is the audience?
What is the purpose of the video(s)?
What do you want the viewer to feel?
What do you want the viewer to do after?
What is your overall messaging?
Who will be interviewed?
How will it be shown?
What format will the final product be delivered on?
What are your company’s weaknesses?
What do you do?
What makes you stand out?
